Spring 2026 Update

Heart

With the release of Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things and all its associated launch marketing over, this is a pretty straightforward update. Sometimes I skip seasonal updates if there isn't much going on. Or I forget. It happens.

Audiobook for Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things. I will be looking for a narrator this summer to bring the story to life.

It Always Feels Alone is a free novella acting as a bridge between Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things and Book 2. This will likely release in September.

Ghost Light Book 2 is progressing along. I hope to complete it by the end of the year. This has been a particularly difficult story to get right. I want this to be just as emotionally resonant as Book 1. I feel the current iteration of this story is the most full-bodied the project has ever been. A release date will be announced once the book is complete and properly edited.

That is all for this season! For monthly updates sign up for the newsletter! That will include more details, discounts, and notifications of future releases!

99c SALE!: Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things

Special 99c sale for launch! Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things will be on sale on Kindle for $0.99 to celebrate its launch! This is special to newsletter subscribers. To be notified when a sale happens, sign up here or on the tab up above. Website posts about sales will not be a regular thing.

The world of the dead is a lonely place for the living.

Rooney Rivers works a gas station graveyard shift. A chance encounter with Theo, a young orphan reeling over the death of his mother, plunges Rooney into a supernatural mystery. Theo's mother's spirit is still around, always following them, always bitter.

Unfortunately, Rooney can't see ghosts.

Orion was murdered and his body never found. Now he wanders as a ghost. With nothing but time on his hands, he follows a series murders across town. Something is leaving pained echoes of spirits.

Together, their three paths cross as they each discover there are many reasons to be afraid of the dark.

It's going to be a long night.

Note: Discounts will be rare for Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things. A free novella will be released later this year for the Ghost Light series as a series starter and vibe check. This means this particular sale will be one of few.

This is a Kindle Countdown in the US and UK markets.

Release Day!

Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things officially releases! Link here!

Some processing difficulties have affected some retailers. As of the time of this post, Barnes & Noble still hasn't listed the paperback and hardcover editions, but that's a site-wide issue at the moment. Digital copies are processing for libraries, as well as paperbacks for libraries should be up in the next week or two.

I will be making more posts once Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things is everywhere it's supposed to be!

This has been a long time coming. The novel has been complete since 2023, but I held back until work on the sequels had progressed significantly. This way, I won't be starting from scratch to deliver the series.

A free prequel novella titled, It Always Feels Alone, will release later this year. This will bridge the gap between book 1 and 2 releases.

I hope you enjoy!

Upcoming Update

The December update will contain new releases information. A free novella will release prior to Petty Rhymes and Devouring Things, around January/February.

The website is reworked so that the main page will include these blog updates. A new Updates tab is available for newest releases. The intention is that someone can glance at the website and see activity for future stories.

Hopefully, these changes will cause the website to become more stable and less of a chance of it going down again. I will be putting in more changes over this winter, but I would rather spend the majority of my attention on new books.

Thank you for your patience.

Due to an issue with my previous website host, things are being moved here. Please allow a few days for everything to be put back into its place.
