Legion: Skin Deep audiobook

Prolific. I think that’s the correct word on can describe Brandon Sanderson. And that ties in with a new work of his, but before we delve into that, I want to give some amazing writing supplies from him!

Sanderson has multiple free resources for writers of all kinds. I can’t recommend these enough. Writing Excuses is a fantastic podcast that you deserve to check out. Listen to it while making dinner, doing some exercise, or during the daily commute. I’m not the first person to recommend it, and I won’t be the last. Any topic you can think of you’ll probably find there discussed by multiple authors.
My favorite material Sanderson releases is the video recordings of his writing class. These can be found on the YouTube Channel Write About Dragons and more information can be found on the website. This is two years worth of lectures for free!
The latest release from Brandon Sanderson is Legion: Skin Deep. Here’s the description, then I’ll follow with the good news.

Stephen Leeds, AKA ”Legion,” is a man whose unique mental condition allows him to generate a multitude of personae: hallucinatory entities with a wide variety of personal characteristics and a vast array of highly specialized skills. As the new story begins, Leeds and his ”aspects” are hired by I3 (Innovative Information Incorporated) to recover a corpse stolen from the local morgue. But there’s a catch. The corpse is that of a pioneer in the field of experimental biotechnology, a man whose work concerned the use of the human body as a massive storage device. He may have embedded something in the cells of his now dead body. And that something might be dangerous…
The news I bring is the fine folks from Audible will be running a month long promotion for Legion: Skin Deep by releasing the audiobook for free! At the top of the page is a sample, so you can inspect the quality of the product.
